Frontiers and Bridges is the new album from the Edinburgh Quartet, Scotland's premier string quartet.

The CD features three contemporary works of music in the classical tradition by living composers based in Edinburgh, Scotland. They are: Kim-Ho Ip from China, Julian Wagstaff from Scotland, and Anothai Nitibhon from Thailand. The Quartet are joined on these recordings by many fine guest musicians from England, China and Russia. The conductor is James Lowe.

The music on this album is exciting and challenging. It is adventurous music for adventurous people! Please browse this site for sound clips, biogs and background info on the project.
